
Class Descriptions
Classes at FitZone will run Monday thru Sunday. We offer a variety of morning, day-time and evening classes for all fitness levels. Below is a description of the classes we offer:
Yoga: This mind, body and spirit class will inspire you. Not only will you reap the health benefits of yoga, but you will also calm the mind while doing so. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Bootcamp: This high intensity class is for those wanting the challenge of a military style workout. Bring lots of water and prepare to sweat as you experience the ultimate hardcore exercise class. Anaerobic and aerobic systems will be challenged along with strength and endurance. For intermediate to advanced fitness levels.
Pilates: Pilates is the ultimate core class. This body conditioning exercise class increases strength, endurance and agility. It also works the muscles of the abdominals, back, arms and legs in a mindful hour work-out.
20-20-20 Challenge: Mix it up with 20-20-20. 20 minutes of cardio followed by 20 minutes of strength training utilizing body bars, free weights, medicine balls and more. We’ll focus on the abs and core for the final 20 minutes.
Zumba: Ditch the work-out and join the party. Watch the inches melt away in this dance fitness class. Get ready to sweat while doing the meringue, salsa, reggaeton and more.
Zumba Gold: Zumba Gold is for our mature members or those new to fitness. Ditch the work-out and join the party with this spirited dance fitness class Your workout will fly as you dance along to the meringue, salsa and cha-cha to name a few .This functional fitness class focuses on cardio, strength training and balance. Taught by a certified Older Adult Fitness Leader.
Interval Power Hour: Interval Training is one of the most effective work-outs in the fitness industry. Cardio drills and strength drills go hand and hand to create a heart pumping, calorie burning hour. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Cardio Mixer: Combining cardiovascular exercise with mind and body stretching will revitalize your body and sense of wellness. Burn calories, reduce stress and increase flexibility in this hour long class. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Fit Tone: Resistance training not only builds lean muscle mass that increases your metabolism but is a must in the prevention of Osteoporosis. Fit Tone uses different types of strength exercises to work all major muscle groups. Weights, body-bars, stability balls and more are utilized to build and burn.
Core-Elation: This class targets those trouble areas we all have. The core is the focus as we work the deep muscles of the abs and low back. You will not only tone these areas but increase flexibility and balance.
Kick it!: Feel the power as you’re guided through a class filled with basic boxing moves. Jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks highlight this motivating class. We’ll challenge your agility, balance and strength in the second part of the class.
Fit Jam: Gets your heart pumping with this early morning cardio class. Be energized and revitalized for your day.
Total Body Fit: This one hour class will challenge all you major muscle groups. Build a strong lean physique through various method of strength training.
